When viewing Leigh's work through her opulent blend of vivacious expression and careful representation we are enclosed in a sense of relaxation and restfulness. Practised in precision by an aunt as a child her diverse and dexterous textures are a contemplative study of her surroundings. Leigh committed to becoming a serious artist in 2007, much to the delight of Australian and international collectors alike. Her exceptional paintings were regularly featured in both solo and group shows in galleries in the United States, Australia, Italy, Mayfair London and Paris. Leigh was born in Brisbane Australia and divides her time the between between the beautiful coastal locations of Noosa Heads, Redcliffe in Qld and Coffs Harbour in NSW.
Leigh, has for now relaxed her overseas presentations and focuses her attention towards exhibiting and teaching in the beautiful unique gallery located on Hamilton Island in Queensland's Barrier Reef. On site high school annual 3 day workshops for year 11 and 12 students help to prepare students for a professioanl end result in their school exhibitions
